If such life experiences begat me any gifts for a prospective spouse in my future, they would be that I would not stake his sense of pride or value to me on the amount of money he made; this is a fool's bargain, and I'd obviously know. Should things not work out the way he planned, I'd just teach him how to swing, as far as the Skid Row chapter is concerned. It'd be fun, I promise.
