Why is Kellyann Sharples (plaintiff widow) so worried about testifying in the witness box?

Did she choose unprotected(?) lithium cells from China? My guess is a "yes".

It is unclear who provided the BMS, if any.

She had Royer assemble them into (4, 5, or 8) packs.

She paid only $2K - a relatively low amount.

Why did she not tell the defendants she had 8 batteries?  Was she running a business?

She says Tim used Daymak's (SLA? different lithium chemistry?) battery charger that caused the fire.

She sent a text saying that she blamed herselfj for Tim's death.

If neither Motorino (Greenwit) packs nor chargers were plugged in, why is Greenwit being sued in a government-subrogated lawsuit?

Since Marples now believes that an AC ripple (from the Daymak charger) was the main factor, why isn't she suing electronics makers?  After all, she is already suing lithium cell factories in Shenzhen China.
