The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for May 7, 2024. Note the previous week's meeting was held off-site and not livestreamed.

The meeting began with some recognitions, namely the birthday of Commissioner Dave Levacy.

Next was the introduction of new IT Team Member, Xavier Smith.

This was followed by a Hunter's Run Conservancy District Assessment Update from Lindel Jackson. (https://www.huntersruncd.org/)

Public Comments began at 39:53 and ran through 46:38. Ray Stemen of Lancaster was first to speak and thanked people in the meeting room for their support during the recent death of his wife Judy. Ray then talked about the need to return to Biblical instruction and Constitutional governance. Ray concluded with a Christian prayer penned by Judy from 1988.

The only other speaker was Sherry Pymer of Walnut Township. Sherry spoke about the upcoming May 12th hearing on Industrial Solar Exclusionary Zones and that there was some potentially contradictory information being circulated in the County's name to at least one of the Townships. The remainder of the meeting were items related to the regular Legal Update and County Administrative Update(s) and the commission's "voting pattern".
