Xi Jinping backs Russia militarily, concealing support via disinformation

05/08/2024 Ava on Winn Tucson China Watch: Xi Jinping made a false promise to France that China would not export weapons to Russia. But he didn't say he wouldn't export the parts used to make the weapons, nor did he promise that he wouldn't ship those parts to a third country, which would then export them to Russia. The CCP is sending weapons parts to Russia to be assembled, and what's more, Russia has set up more than 70 weapons manufacturers directly in Chinese border cities. So Xi is supporting Russia in other ways and using disinformation to hide his support for Russia.
