In the 1970’s President Nixon (‘tricky dicky’) saw an opportunity whilst seeking re-election. Russia (and most of the world) was in agricultural difficulties and despite the Ukraine being the bread basket of the world and the cold war, he decided to supply Russia with grains and bump up production in the USA, and then subsidized the exports despite world grain prices being very high .

Liuse Light was viewed as a problem and her original food pyramid design was changed and we still have that version today in the health service

Nixon’s secretary of agriculture Earl ‘Rusty’ Butz, further advised small farms to sell up and amalgamate farms into very large concerns, reducing family farms and the ‘farm to fork’ ethos suggested today. Consolidation of farms exploded resulting however in claims of fraud by compulsory purchase, illegal loan contracts and fraudulent mortgages leading to the US Supreme court victory and leading to the

‘National Economic Security and RECOVERY Act’ (NESARA which is not the ‘national economic security RECOVERY act’ bizarre decoy) This act is still waiting to be implemented from 1999 stemming from the farmers land cases (or farmers claims program) of the 1970’s into the 1980’s

Earl ‘Rusty’ Butz and Nixon advertised nationally with the slogan ‘get big or get out’ and ‘adapt or die’ and this caught on globally changing farm practices (and soil husbandry practices) and opinions to this day around the world.. They viewed this as an election winner which was true until the Watergate scandal of 1973 and Nixon’s resignation of 8.8.1974.

This changed farming from small to medium sized farms into mass production factories, and introduced industrial techniques in food processing and new industrial food processing equipment and ironically moved the US system into a model closer to resembling the soviets system. Many suspected the Leninists and Trotskyites in the Republican party of achieving the result they wanted all along by massive irregular social agricultural redesigns.

Russia’s and the worlds emergency ended and the USA was left with excess corn, wheat and soy which if homogenised and its molecules broken down into a gloop, the amount could be broadened (‘never mind the quality feel the width’ was a tailors saying) and expand the product offsetting the losses caused by Russia’s recovery and reduced US grain imports .

Further commentators in the USA say that looking back to older photographs compared with the obesity look today, Americans looked like a completely different race of people (slimmer on a wider average) Then as compared to today until the still used food pyramid has the ethos of ‘let grain be thy medicine’ instead of ‘let food be thy medicine’ (Hippocrates)

Salt is not unhealthy if it is fine food grade organic natural salt for instance. It is given to cattle for licking in the fields and is used as a saline solution (sodium chloride) in hospital A & E wards, so it may not be a cause of strokes and high cholesterol and may not be as bad as first thought . Is it therefore good or bad cholesterol?
