James Forrestal was the very 1st United States Secretary of Defense from September 17, 1947 – March 28, 1949. It wasn't long after his March 28th 1949 departure from the Truman Government that he would be signed into the "BETHASDA NAVAL HOSPITAL" in Maryland against his will and found dead on May 22nd 1949 having "apparently" jumped to his death from the 16th floor just as his brother was to have him released from this hospital. James Forrestal was under immense STRESS knowing something and believed people were following him and going to kill him.
