In this video, MIRA Safety CEO Roman Zrazhevskiy introduces the NBC-17 SOF and NBC-77 SOF CBRN filters. The NBC SOF filter canister, in combination with a full-face mask, mouthpiece assembly, or PAPR, provides reliable protection of air passages against a wide range of harmful and toxic substances, including all known CBRN agents. Filters are produced with standard round threads according to STANAG 4155 (EN 148- 1) - Rd 40x1/7" or GOST 8762-75 (40 x 4 mm). These filter components are made of hard plastic, which provide a very robust product that is extremely durable against shock and impact damage in operational use. Both the NBC-17 and 77 filter all known CBRN agents. The major difference (aside from size, shelf life, and capacity) is only the NBC-77 is able to filter radioactive iodine.
