Candyland Board Game Turns Horror Game on Computers

It seems the latest craze to hit entertainment is to remake classic children’s stories and board games in the horror genre. Winnie-the-Pooh Blood and Honey, and its upcoming sequel Blood and Honey II, gained notoriety for taking the public domain characters and twisting their story. This is really nothing new, movie studios have been doing this for years. Gretel & Hansel did it in 2020 while Pinocchio’s Revenge had this idea way back in 1996. The difference is, Blood and Honey followed the latest trend in movies – cinematic universe. Yay. Well, now companies are turning to board games and what better board game to start with than Candyland(?).
