A Grand Rapids restaurant has become such a favorite spot for brunch in West Michigan

Lucy’s, 1747 Plainfield Ave. NE in the Creston neighborhood, has recently placed No. 12 in a Yelp survey of the top brunch spots in America, and it was the only one in Michigan to make the list. The local restaurant was originally built as Daane’s Market, co-founded in 1959 , and later in 2016, the Vanderkooy family transformed the space into Brighton Graye’s Bistro and Little Lucy’s Cafe.
