After a back and forth attack between Sami Zayn and Chad Gable for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. During an episode of Monday night Raw Chad Gable faced Bronson Reed for the number one contender spot which ultimately led to a DQ caused by Sami Zayn attacking both Gable and Reed. Leading to a triple threat match taking place at King and Queen of the Ring Saudi Arabia KSA for the intercontinental championship.
