Working on the railroad was a risky business.

By 1879 construction of the railroad had made it all the way to Royal Gorge, Arkansas, Colorado. But work was at a standstill. The workers of the Denver Rio Grande Railroad were dying. Under the light of the full moon something was hunting them.

William H. Bonney, is stuck in a Lincoln County jail cell, awaiting sentence. When the man in charge of the Denver Rio Grande Railroad offers him a reprieve in exchange for help protecting his workers, he accepts.

The history books don't mention where Billy the Kid was between leaving Lincoln County in June 1879, and being sighted in Fort Sumner, Mexico in January 1880. This is that story.
