LeadingAge South Carolina President and CEO Kassie South says she has called on the House and Senate to stop the Biden administration’ new rule mandating a minimum staffing level in nursing homes. South says the Ensuring Seniors Access’ to Quality Care Act, passed by the House Ways and Means Committee, will help alleviate staffing shortages by allowing nursing homes to offer on-site training.
