Hip-hop jewelry is being showcased at a new museum exhibition

Slick Rick's crown and eye patch, A$AP Rocky's necklace, and Nicki Minaj's Barbie pendant are among the pieces of hip-hop jewelry on display at an exhibition at the American Museum of Natural History. Rapper Shante - who has a ring in the show - said the jewelry represents success and strength. Sean M. Decatur, the museum's president, said the exhibition will also help tell the history of hip-hop.
