Fani Willis Under Fire .................

Former federal prosecutor Neama Rahmani said Newsweek that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis "botched" the election interference case against former President Donald Trump, which was scheduled to go to trial before this year's presidential election.

Since indicting Trump and 18 co-conspirators in a massive racketeering case in August, the Democratic district attorney has been severely criticized by Republicans. Things escalated earlier this year when one of the co-defendants claimed in a court document that Willis was in a romantic connection with Nathan Wade, one of her special prosecutors.
