Bass Fishing Tips: The 80/20 Rule (Catch Largemouth from the Bank)

This outing took place the 2nd week of April. Small water usually warms up before large water. This is especially true if you can find some small lakes and ponds with large shallow bays. This water warms especially fast, and can help warm the overall temperature and cause activity to increase sooner than what you may find on larger bodies of water. That was what we were testing on this day, and we caught our first fish of 2024. (We also mapped the bottom using our Deeper Pro Sonar and found out the max depth was right around 10' and the surface water temp was 58°.)
