Dog Closes Front Door In Rejection Of Taking A Walk

I have never seen a dog actively reject getting to go for a walk! This video is impressive on a lot of different levels. The older Golden Retriever is sitting on some steps when his owner asks if he wants to go for a walk. Excited, the dog gets up and walks to the front door. However, before leaving he pauses and then shuts the door before doing and laying down. The woman tries again and again the dog is excited and walks to the front door. This time, he stares out the front door for a few moments before actually going around and shutting the door.
