K-9 specialists of the Yug Group of Forces undergo training in one of the rear areas of the special military operation. Service dogs acquire special skills to perform combat tasks. The training is held twice a day.

After completion of an intensive training course, K-9 specialists with service dogs are sent to perform duties at checkpoints and to guard particularly important facilities. Service dogs are regularly employed to detect explosive objects and neutralise AFU sabotage groups in the special military operation zone.

The dogs of the Yug Group of Forces are provided with a special diet. All necessary veterinary assistance is provided to the animals. SOURCE
