Storm Shield Forecast morning update 4/16/18

An approaching cold front means you'll see increasing clouds and winds today with a High Wind Warning in effect for the mountain and desert cities from 11 a.m. today through 10 p.m. tonight. There will be scattered showers across the county today into tonight, but the winds and residual warm and dry weather will prevent the valley from seeing much of that rain get to the ground. The mountains will pick up about a quarter inch of rain that will turn to mountain snow tonight into tomorrow morning.
