Man shot, killed at 40th and Garfield in KCMO

A man was shot and killed at 40th and Garfield just before 4:00 a.m. Monday. Police said they have a person of interest in custody. Police officers on scene confirmed the victim died at the scene, and was the only victim. Police spokesperson Capt. Lionel Colon said an argument or altercation of some kind preceded the shooting. An investigation is underway.
