Splitting a Black Locust log with only hand tools part 2

In this video, I demonstrate how incredibly hard black locust wood actually is. After initially attempting to split with a pair of axe and a hatchet, I revert back to old fashion chainsaw technology to draw a line down the top. Eventially, I hammer the shit out of the wedge in a couple places and get er split. Black locust lumber is said to be the 2nd hardest wood in North America. Enjoy!
