The United Auto Workers Union says over 94-percent of workers at Daimler Truck voted

The vote by workers at plants in North Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia means a profit-sharing plan and cost of living adjustments for the first time. UAW officials in Detroit have been focusing on organizing at auto plants in the south. The Daimler workers build Freightliner and Western Star Trucks and Thomas Built buses.
