The Helldivers 2 PlayStation Steam Controversy So Far

In case you have been living under a rock for the last several months, Sony and Arrowhead released a cross platform title called Helldivers 2. It being a surprise hit, copies selling like hot cakes in a cold lumberjack camp, some things slipped through the cracks at launch. Namely, a little detail that would require players to log in using a PlayStation Network account, even if Helldivers 2 was purchased through Steam on PC. A week or so ago, Sony decided to enforce that little detail, even going as far as removing the game from digital store fronts. In the last day or so, as of this writing, Sony has backtracked a bit due to demand from fans. The question is, for how long though?
