code P02646 (how to fix) Honda Fit check engine light

This code is usually an easy fix so don't go throwing parts at it just yet. You can clean the filter in the VVT body. In this video I show you where it is and talk about how to do it. You pull the engine cover off and the breather so you can get to it easily. There are three bolts holding it on, just pop the 10mm bolts off and pull it free. Then clean it really well with carburetor cleaner. let it soak inside the housing a little and clean up the surface where the gasket is and on the engine side too and slap it back together. To test it, drive.. If the light stays off then you should you be good.
