Kevin McCarthy’s feelings are hurt, and he’s using his elitist billionaire donor network to puppeteer John McLiar’s campaign.

Bloomberg reports that hedge fund billionaires Ken Griffin and Paul Singer have put a combined $7 million into the super pac supporting John McLiar, with an unprecedented $3 million already spent on ad placement in VA-05.

While Virginia conservatives continue to warn against McLiar’s “unbridled” and “dangerous” political ambition, billionaires and establishment elitists bankroll it with unprecedented amounts of money.

That’s as swampy as it gets.
