Northern Kentucky man found dead after crashing into pond

A Florence, Kentucky man was found dead late Friday after his vehicle crashed into a pond. Bryan Hammon, 50, was headed east on Mount Zion Road at about 10:48 p.m. According to the Boone County Sheriff's Office, he went off the right side into a ditch near Hempsteade Drive and continued off the road for nearly 500 feet before crashing into the water. Witnesses said the vehicle became completely submerged.
