Day 125 | Daily Bible Reading | David’s Strong Army | 1 Chronicles 12-14

In today’s reading we see King David’s army being built by men of valor and skill at war, as David is established as King of Israel. Also, David will get the Ark of the Covenant, with great celebration. But things get sideways when a man touches the ark, despite God’s instruction to not do so. And, David will go out against other armies, and in one case, God tells David to stand down and wait for him, the Lord of Armies, to go forward first against his enemies. David will hear the sound of marching in the mulberry trees and know that’s when to advance- because God has gone first.
