Fadi Tuman, member of the Roman Catholic Scouts in occupied #AlQuds, describes how in solidarity with Gaza and the whole country, no celebrations were held this year on the occasion of Holy Saturday at the church at Holy Sepulchre:

"This year, there are no celebrations, we have no drums, no music, none of that. The point is more to preserve our Christian presence. We are walking in a march without drums, music, joy or any of this, because our country is suffering. It doesn't make sense for us to be happy while the rest of our people are in pain. We wanted to preserve this.

Our message is that this Holy Light spreads to the world, to preserve peace especially in our country. The Light coming out of Al-Quds and the church of Holy Sepulchre. This Light should reach everyone especially our people in Gaza. May the Light of peace and the light of Christ reach them. May peace reign everywhere, God willing."
