I no longer have a righteousness of my own. This came after a long reflection by St. Paul on how he has from his childhood remained blameless judging by the righteousness which is of the law. He kept the law to the extent of correcting the early church. This is one thing common with people who operate based on the righteousness which is of the law. They are good in the ministry of condemnation. The excellency of the knowledge of Jesus Christ led Paul to understand that righteousness which is of the law is a waste of time. Seeking Jesus made him become one with Him and therefore the righteousness which he has is no longer the kind due to keeping the law but by Faith in Christ. The righteousness from God is obtained by Faith. While writing this, I remembered Abraham our father of faith. How due to his faith in God righteousness was inputed to him. I explained further the righteousness which is of faith using the case of the thief by the right hand of the cross. His past didn't matter anymore once he expressed faith in the righteousness of Jesus. I also referenced Romans 10:6-9 giving us how the righteousness which is by faith speaketh - it does not say who will ascend or descend to bring Christ. It knows that Christ is within even in our mouth and our heart. All needs to know this and come out of the condemnation of the evil one. You must know that the purpose for the death of Christ was for your sins and that you can be clean at anytime and anywhere by Faith. Just believe that He has taken away your sin and it is done and you are upright in His sight. Then try to avoid sin. Sin though will not be able to separate us from the love of God, we cannot escape from His presence. He always follows us with His hands wide open to receive us anytime we receive the righteousness by Faith. Comment, share, like so we can reach more people. Cheers #dennis_onuigbo || DosimpleTV
