As water sources keep on decreasing, even the straightforward demonstration of taking a beverage can turn into a capital punishment for natural life. This was what was happening last end of the week, when two female elephants took a sideways tumble as they continued looking for water, every one losing their balance and turning out to be totally entangled in thick, drying mud. Without help, they had no expectation of liberating themselves.
They had previously lain totally vulnerable for no less than two days before reports contacted us, yet some way or another they were all the while gripping on to life. Fortunately, by working cooperatively with KWS and Natural life Works, numerous tiring long stretches of exertion, inventiveness and pull paid off, and we had the option to pull the two elephants onto firmer ground.
Your help assumes a vital part in these salvage missions, which are turning into an all-too-normal event as the dry spell proceeds. Peruse the full story here to see your gifts in real life during this difficult time
