The incident took place during a festival celebrating the Manas Epic, a revered poem in Kyrgyzstan's culture. At least 29 children were injured, with eight of them hospitalized and seven in intensive care, including three in critical condition. All the injured children were between the ages of nine and 16. Another video from the scene showed wounded children scattered across the grass.
