HateWatchers has a new video series where we recap everything that we watched over the last month. We plan to do these Review Roundups on a monthly basis, giving us a chance to add context to our other review videos as well as touch on a few shows & movies that we didn't end up reviewing on the channel.

The month of April, 2024, was a very weak showing for movies. Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver was the biggest release of the month and even that wasn't worthy of the theatrical release that Part One had gotten. The movie was laughably bad anyway so that was probably a wise move. Civil War was super misleading about it's subject matter, focusing on photojournalists more than anything else. And we rounded out the month with Heat, a classic film that's currently free on YouTube. On the silver screen, the month was dominated by two great shows: Fallout & Shogun. But to bring the average down, we also watched Invincible season 2 (not nearly as good as season 1) and Velma (dogshit).
