Info from Licensor: "My step-dad has been in our lives since I was about 10 years old. He was my Mom's high-school sweetheart at one point. At 13, we moved about two and a half hours North to Vancouver to live with him. He has had such an enormous positive impact on me and my sister's lives. Just writing this, I'm starting to tear up and cry. He is the best, strongest, and most talented man I can ever imagine. He is who brought me up to be the man I am today. Without him in my life, there is no telling where I would have been today. He literally is the reason for everything that I am today. (ok now I actually have tears streaming down my cheeks). He especially had an impact on us because my real Dad wasn't really there - I started to bond with him again (my real Dad) when I was about 18 - shortly after, my real Dad passed away when I was 19. It was extremely hard on me - and it almost cost me my relationship with my wife - but she too is a strong and amazing person! (whom I've been together with since high school)! My step-dad (now real Dad) has always been an inspiration, a talented and extremely hard working, patient, kind person, a teacher, a moral compass, a leader and a disciplinarian when needed. The video itself and the book we wrote for him says it all. Nothing else I can write here will cover what is in the video already about what we think of him. Right before this started, I handed my wife my phone and asked her to sit in such a way that my Mom, Sister and I were in the frame with my Dad set to read his 'book' of 50 things we loved about him out loud. You can clearly see how he can't even get past a few of them without choking up. My Grandpa was there (who has known my Dad for pretty much all his life - from the same Church when they were young). Everyone in the room was crying. It truly was a special moment and I am so glad we had a chance to do this. I still tear up just thinking about it. Thank you for giving me a chance to share my story."
