China sends robot to explore far side of moon

China has sent a device to the far side of the moon to gather data about the lunar surface and is scheduled to head back to Earth in about two months. The craft comprises four distinct components for its 53-day mission: a lunar orbiter, moon lander, ascender spacecraft, and reentry module.
