Braised Pork Rib with Young Jackfruit. In Balinese we call it Balung Nangka. This is an old Balinese recipe , Normally we make this for the Galungan celebration to accompany Lawar (Balinese side dish made from vegetables such as jackfruit snake bean, young papaya, meat and Bumbu Genep ) Rice and Urutan ( Balinese sausages)
But nowadays you can find this soup in every Babi Guling ( Suckling Pig) warung, ( street restaurant) Here I use uncooked Bumbu Genep and actually I only use 60 ml of coconut oil.
