Experts forecasted heavy rains & floods after regular cloud seeding operations in the region. The problem is they have few trees there so any heavy rain has nowhere to go. The desert is a thin layer. Also im not sure the floods will do much but we shall see. They erode the land even further so at the next heavy rain it will be even more destructive. Also they might exhaust all the water so that there will be a long draught after this. Water is wasted if there arent ways to capture it.
