Storms With Thunderstorms, Rain And Hail Hit France | May 1, 2024

Météo France has issued an orange alert for thunderstorms, hail and flooding in 19 regions of France. Especially in New Aquitaine and the Atlantic Pyrenees.

According to the Météo channel, precipitation in a few hours in Paris is equivalent to two weeks of rain. Paris's two airports were closed from 10 p.m. Flooding was observed at Charles de Gaulle airport in Roissy. Several planes were unable to land at Orly airport and were diverted to other airports.
