Fighting for Veteran Rights – Medical Malpractice in the VA w/ Brian Tally

1.16K

Today I’m joined by Brian Tally, a former Marine who faced severe medical malpractice at the hands of the VA healthcare system. Brian shares his harrowing experience of being misdiagnosed and improperly treated for a life-threatening infection that was aggressively eating away at his spine and internal organs. This ordeal led him to fight for veterans' rights and healthcare improvements, highlighting the systemic issues within the VA system.

Despite enduring significant personal and physical hardships, including losing his livelihood and facing severe depression, Brian chose to advocate for change. He took it upon himself to draft legislation aimed at closing legal loopholes that had allowed such negligence to occur unaddressed for decades. His relentless efforts culminated in the passage of a bill that promotes transparency and accountability within the VA, ensuring no other veteran suffers a similar fate.

  • Great interview Chad! I always enjoy your show and being a disabled veteran myself and currently going through some stuff, this one hits close to home. Thank you Brian Tally for what you have done and continue doing! To me, this is a great story and inspirational message at a time I need it! Thank you!!! @24:35 I always knew, congress needs bills to be broken down crayola style... so of course it takes a Marine, putting crayon to paper to get them to understand something lol. Dan Crenshaw - is a scumbag of a human for many reasons. To use his veteran and seal status (as a shinny object) to run and gain votes from veterans and the supporting community, to then turn around and shit on them... is just piss poor and sorry. Unfortunately, just because someone is a veteran and or was special ops of any kind, does not mean they will do anything at all to help other vets. As a matter of fact, Dan's done a pretty good job of not helping...but continuing to allow the disgraceful and harmful ways vets get treated every day.

  • Vets should get a credit card for medical and they can just go anywhere. This would be better for our vets health.
