Freddy King was an extremely influential guitarist. He is No. 19 on Rolling Stone's list of 100 Most Influential Guitarists.

This is a 1969 release from King Records (now defunct), catalogue number KLP-1059, featuring a compilation of tracks Freddy King had recorded for King Records earlier in the 1960's. This album has been deleted but this material is still available on CD on other Freddy King compilations.

Tracks on this album have been covered by Eric Clapton, Johnny Winter and John Mayall, among others.

Audio here taken from a 1969 or early 1970's US pressing of the original King Records vinyl LP.
