Society of the Snow (La Sociedad de la Nieve) | Movie Review

Society of the Snow tells the true story of the 1972 plane crash involving members of the Uruguayan rugby team and their ordeal to survive the harrowing events, from the horrific crash itself to the weeks of being trapped on the mountain with no hope of being found and rescued. Eventually they resorted to consuming the dead bodies of their fellow plane passengers/team members in order to survive. La Sociedad de la Nieve is scheduled for release on January 4, 2024, on @Netflix .
