Russian Defence Ministry opens exhibition of captured weapons and hardware in Victory Park

Today the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation opened the exhibition of trophy weapons and hardware captured in Rabotino and Malaya Tokmachka (Zaporozhye region), and Avdeyevka (Donetsk People's Republic) during the special military operation. The event takes place at the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Gora.

The exhibition is divided into several thematic zones and is accompanied by information stands on the countries of manufacture, tactical and technical characteristics, and the places and circumstances of its capture by Russian servicemen.

More than 30 samples of military hardware produced by the USA, the UK, Germany, France, Sweden, Finland, Austria, Turkey, Australia, South Africa, and Ukraine are presented on the open area.

Visitors can get acquainted with the U.S. Abrams tank, the German Leopard-2, the French AMX-10RC, the German Marder infantry fighting vehicles, the U.S. Bradley IFV, M113 APC, the International MaxxPro armoured vehicle, HMMWV M1151 and HMMWV M998 armoured motor hevicle, the M777 towed howitzer, AT105 Sakson and Husky TSV armoured motor vehicles made in the UK, the Austrian Pinzgauer 712M, the Turkish Kirpi armoured motor vehicle, the UK Mastiff armoured motor vehicle, the Australian Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicle, Finnish Sisu Pasi XA-180/185 APC, the South African Mamba MK2 armoured motor vehicle, the Czech BMP-1, Ukrainian Azovets tank support vehicle, as well as other armoured vehicles.

The exhibition displays samples of small arms and engineering weapons of the armies of foreign countries that are members of the NATO military and political alliance, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles, communications means, and equipment of AFU.
