GUEST OVERVIEW: Dena Peacock's life changed drastically when she was diagnosed with Hepatitis C in 2017, a consequence of tainted blood transfusions she received decades earlier. Despite years of unexplained illness and visits to her GP, her condition remained undetected until her sixties. Determined to advocate for herself and others affected by the contaminated blood scandal, Dena became a vocal critic of the government's response. With the support of her family, she fought tirelessly for recognition, compensation, and support for all victims. Her resilience and courage inspired many to join the call for justice, ensuring that the voices of those impacted would not be silenced.
