Rochester Hills man set for trial in murder of his wife that caused family controversy

Shaun Wheeler will stand trial on charges of First Degree Premeditated Murder and Felony Firearms. The penalty is life without parole if convicted.  He created controversy among both his and his wife’s families when he claimed his wife, Cory Ehlers, was divorcing him and had already allegedly started having an affair.
