HAUS is the location where the First Major DLC for Dead Island 2 takes place. HAUS on the surface looks like a classic, 60's era modernist mansion, set amidst acres of prime clifftop real-estate on the Malibu coast. Below the surface, it is a specialized research and development campus from Konradt realities focused on Brink technology, the organ field and related auto phage and functions as the infrastructure for the Ark. Testing and filtering candidates for ascension into the ark is also among the main functions HAUS.
