Former New York Congressman George Santos says he pushed House Speaker Mike Johnson to run for that position, but he also said he can't hold anything against U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14) for what she's said about Johnson. "I have solid inside information that Congresswoman Luna from Florida has put out there. There is a set number of moderate Republicans who are ready and willing and said they will pull the trigger and resign effective immediately if the motion to vacate goes to the floor next week," Santos said. "The reality is, if this motion [to vacate] hits the floor, we will be in the minority effective immediately, according to this handful of very moderate Republicans. The reality is these folks seem to like their establishment a lot more than the country and the oath of office they took."
