HOW Can I Recover from Abuse, Trauma, Violence?

Sometimes stories help us understand concepts. Check out this video where I give a real-life example of how someone experienced uncovering and interrupting a belief attached to cigarette smoking, that related to childhood abuse and the need to feel safe.

This video is a dive into the fact that when it comes to Emotion (subconscious mind/deeply rooted beliefs) and Logic (conscious, executive functioning that you activate when you use willpower), EMOTION wins every time, eventually.

So, one answer to “How can I recover…” is, tap into the subconscious, emotions, and beliefs/perspectives. If you can interrupt and break those, and then harness emotion to the new belief that is healing; that can be extraordinarily effective.

I’ve experienced it, personally, with clients, as have many of my colleagues.

Willpower, logic and determination can take us far. Emotion and changing beliefs at the core can put you in a different stratosphere!
