Birdhouse Gourd Bird Houses

These little birdhouse gourds are the ones we shot a video of the process of hand pollenating at 10pm at night last year.
These gourds were picked 3 weeks to the day after pollenating.
3 weeks. 21 days is all it took for them to be fully formed. They should have grown a little bit longer but our first freeze came and we had to pick them at 21 days.
They were very fragile, but I dried and cured them anyway...
and look what we have.
