Webster, N.Y. — “It’s fine. I’ll take care of it since I’ll be prosecuting myself.”

That’s the response Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley gave to the officer who wrote her a speeding ticket after a tense, now-viral traffic stop captured by a body camera.

The ticket capped off an interaction that started when a Webster police officer tried to stop Doorley for driving 55 mph in a 35 mph zone on April 22, according to a video released by police and posted by WROC/Rochester First. Instead of pulling over, police said the DA drove home and parked in her garage.
