Iranian rapper Toomaj Salehi facing death sentence barred from making phone calls

Iranian rapper Toomaj Salehi, who is on death sentence has been barred from making phone calls from jail. This was announced by online social media accounts handled by his fans and supporters. The singer who performs under the name Toomaj, was arrested and subsequently sentenced to death for his involvement in supporting nationwide protests in Iran in 2022 following the death of Masha Amini.
