Alberta premier defends new bill that would grant sweeping powers over local governments Bill 20

We must fight bill 20 with everything we have. The Provincial government wants power over our municipal Mayors and Councilors who are Independent and not part of a party. Governments under parties must serve their party and do not serve the people. Mayors and Councillors must serve their Constituents. We can still control Independents if we all unite but it is almost impossible to control parties.
