How to Combine Watercolor and Ink || Waterproof Pigma Micron Pen

How can I can combine watercolor and pen without the ink smearing and running? Here's what I use. I'm making an ink and watercolor painting and talking through my process and the supplies.

I like the combination of ink lines and watercolor, but I didn't use to have waterproof ink pens so if I tried inking and painting watercolor over it, the ink lines would run and smear on the paper. So, I'd either have to paint watercolor first and ink second or ink with my acrylic ink and a dip pen in which case the lines would be thicker than I wanted. One of the reasons I want to ink first is that I can scan the lineart before painting and turn it into a coloring page.

I finally bought a set of Sakura Pigma Micron fineliners. They have waterproof, archival ink, which means that you can paint over them with watercolor without the ink running and they will not fade in sunlight. This set has 6 fineliners in different tip sizes from 0.2 mm to 0.5 mm so you can also vary your line thickness to make the piece more interesting and accentuate some parts of the line art.
